Kendra McSweeney received a surprise
visit from Provost
Barbara Snyder at the
beginning
of her Latin America class on Thursday, March 24. Provost Snyder
presented Kendra with a 2005 Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching.
This
prestigious
award is based on nomination materials and support from students
and is a well-deserved honor. Accompanying the Provost was Mr.
Archie Griffin, who made a statement on behalf of the Alumni Association.
Dean Beck also offered his congratulations. Needless to say, Kendra
received a big cheer from her Geography 605 class.
