11.07 The Department of Geography will be hosting an Open Round-Table Discussion with Dr. Eric Fong from the University of Toronto. The discussion will focus on Residential Patterns and Multi-Ethnic Cities. This event will be held in Derby 1039 on Thursday Nov. 27 at 3:30 P.M. Details can be obtained here. (DOC)
11.07 Dr. Thomas W. Blaine will present "Global Climate Change 2007: A Review of the Evidence and Outlook to the Future" as part of the Byrd Polar Research Center Seminar Series. November 16, 2007 at 3:30 P.M. in 240 Scott Hall.
11.07 Dr. Michael Samers will present, "Islamic banking and finance: postcolonial political economy and the geography of purification." This colloquium will take place in Derby 1080 on Thursday November 15, 2007 at 3:30 P.M.

11.07 The first Geospatial Data and Analysis (GSDA) lecture will feature Rongxing Li from Civil & Environmental Engineering & Geodetic Science at Ohio State, who will be speaking on "Geospatial Information - Continued OSU Support for the Mars Exploration Rover Mission". Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at 3:30 p.m. in Cockins Hall 240 (CH 240). A reception will follow.
11.07 Andy Keeler & David Kraybill will present " Adaptation to Climate Change on Kilimanjaro: Livelihoods and Water Availability" as part of the Climate, Water & Carbon Colloquium Series. Wednesday November 7, 2007 at Noon in 240 Scott Hall.
