Interests: My main research interest revolves around analytic and visual approaches to investigate the semantics of geographic information and the consequences of semantic uncertainty for spatial analysis. I investigate this mainly in the context of land use and land cover change studies, but try to generalize findings to other semantically problematic objects and processes.
