Explore the Egyptian pyramids, climb the highest mountains in the world, peer through the photographer's lens and uncover the mysteries of human origins in the 2002
Live...From National Geographic programs airing January-April on WCET 48.

The live, interactive programs, offered by the National Geographic Society in collaboration with WCET, accompany the annual Live...From National Geographic lecture series. Each program will air in the morning, with the lecture following in the evening at the Aronoff Center. Ohio Geographic Alliance (OGA) will offer educator workshops to accompany each lecturer. Online lesson plans will also be available.

Photographer Chris Johns discusses African wildlife.

"Pushing the Limits"
Mountain climber Ed Visteurs gives an action-packed talk on his attempt to scale 14 of the world's 8,000 meter peaks.
 March 14
"Mysteries of Ancient Egypt"
Archaeologist Zahi Hawass reveals the latest archaelogical discoveries in Egypt.
 April 18
"Discovering Our Earliest Ancestors"
 Paleontologist Louise Leakey discusses the surprising diversity in the hominid fossil record.
